Sage is a plant with varied many and wonderful properties. Over the years it has been used for its medicinal properties and today is still a traditional remedy for soothing sore throats due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It is also one of the commonest herbs in European cookery and used for flavoring many dishes.
