The Japanese Firethorn earrings take inspiration from the shrub in spring, when small white flowers appear among its glossy evergreen leaves. The contrast between fresh foliage and delicate blossom gives the plant a softer, lighter character at this time of year, bringing a sense of seasonal freshness to the design.
Each earring features a slender branching form cast in bronze, with finely textured leaves framing small freshwater pearls that suggest the firethorn’s white flowers. Green hand patination adds natural color to the foliage, while the pearls introduce a soft luminosity. The elongated drop allows the design to move gently when worn, giving these Japanese Firethorn earrings an elegant, airy presence.
Materials: The Japanese Firethorn earrings are cast in hand patinated bronze with our signature green hand patinated finish, accented with white freshwater pearls. The wires are 925 silver with a 24kt gold plating.
