Orange Blossom Fine Jewelry Collection
Throughout history, Orange Blossom flowers have symbolized purity, innocence, chastity, and fertility. In 1684 Louis XIV transferred from Fontainebleau to Versailles and, fond of their sweet scent and gorgeous white flowers, installed his Orangerie. He insisted that even in the middle of January baskets of orange blossoms perfume the rooms. Because they partly symbolize fertility, the flowers have been considered ideal adornments for brides.
"Before the flowers open, the buds have always reminded me of freshwater pearls, which is why I incorporated them into my designs." - Michael Michaud
