Queen Anne's Lace Necklace
- Handmade Botanical Jewelry
Queen Anne’s Lace (Daucus carota) is a delicate wildflower composed of tiny white florets arranged in airy, lace-like umbels. Named after Queen Anne of England, who was celebrated for her lace-making skills, the flower has long been associated with elegance and craftsmanship. One enduring legend tells of a contest she held among her ladies-in-waiting to create lace as intricate as the flower itself - but none could surpass nature’s design. The bloom continues to symbolize beauty, grace, and quiet sophistication.
This elegant necklace features five circular floral clusters, each framed by finely detailed leaves. The central cluster is slightly larger, creating a natural focal point. Crystal dust adds a shimmering finish, echoing the flower’s intricate bloom.
Materials: The Queen Anne's Lace necklace is cast in hand patinated bronze, accented with enamel and finished with a crystal dust.
Measures: 18" - 20" L (adjustable); Central cluster: 1.1" L x 1.12" W
